As a fly rod company who fancies our heritage, we would be remiss to not have a cane rod in the arsenal. As the industry gravitated towards fast action in 2023, we only felt that a sign to go as slow as we could go, continuing to buck mass production.

A new stunning cane rod was the obvious choice and the perfect medium to honor our roots. When we talk heritage, this rod evoked our own French-Canadian roots which sit high and proud in our family tree. These roots are filled with woodworkers, boat builders and fine craftsman alike. This one was a tribute to them. So to name this one after the St.John River, which sites along and flows through the Maine/Canadian border at the tip top of the state felt just right. Couldn’t get much more authentic than that for this one!
